When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by who we know now to be Sal the owner, we have never been made to be welcome so much, and its true what we read in the book, that everyone is made to feel like family and we did. We have not stopped talking about it since we returned home to England and for that we thank you. Looking forward to our next visit.

My wife Sue and I had an early dinner at Patsy's this past Friday for the first time. Patsy's is now our favorite Midtown restaurant. The food, atmosphere and service was great and we can't stop talking about it. We were also treated to a friend of Sal's singing Happy Birthday to him. The only thing we wish was the chance to see Mr. Sinatra at Patsy's for we understand why he and other celebritries love it. Thanks for a great time and we will be back.

My husband and I first saw Sal on the today show about two years ago and decided to give your restaurant a try. We really loved the food! So much, that everytime we return to NYC during the year we always have dinner at Patsy's. If we are not able to visit the restaurant it's as if we had not gone to NYC.

Just a note to say how good the marinara is. Gave it as a gift this Christmas, here's a verbatim quote: 'Hi Jim. I just want to thank you again for that delicious marinara sauce. I used it last night with ground turkey over ziti. It was absolutely fabulous. I am going to look for it in my shoprite but do not have high hopes for finding it. Thanks again, we both loved it.'

I would like to thank everyone, Joe, Frank, Sal for the wonderful time we had at Patsy's on Saturday night, we were there 3 years ago, and had to return with some friends, we had our picture taken with all of you and Joe was so accomodating, I have been in the customer service line all my life, and I have never been treated so openly by and establishment, who truely believes in treating everyone the same, it is so rare today to find this kind of service, and as always the food is excellent, we all can't stop talking about it and will return soon, thank you again for a wonderful evening... and I will be ordering cookbooks this week.

I have been to PATSY'S twice. Once, after the Tony Danza show and a second time with my mother and sister. Sal was so sweet to my mother who,was enjoying her 80th birthday he made her feel like a celebirty he gave her his famous"sauce" and sang "happy birthday" to her and we took pictures. Thanks again Sal you are truly a gracious guy.

I love eating at Patsy's. The service and hospitality are like no other. My husband is a bit of a chef himself, so i knew this Christmas had to include Patsys gifts. He liked the apron and oils but he especially liked the autographed Patsys cookbook. Thanks Patsys and thanks Sal for helping to make this a great Christmas.
Deborah from West Babylon, NY. December 2006
Getting a gift certificate for my parents through Patys website was so easy. They don't charge for shipping so all you pay is for the gift certificate. Thank you so much!!!

I recently discovered your Puttanesca sauce in our
local HEB (Central Market) Grocery store. We are always on the look out
for sauces that are not as high in sodium as most of those we find on the
grocery store shelves. We noticed that Patsy's puttanesca was in the reasonable
sodium range and, since I had not found a decent puttanesca since William
Sonoma discontinued their private label "brew" several years ago, we decided
to give yours a shot. We are DELIGHTED with it. Normally, any sauce we
get from the store has to be doctored up with several cloves of garlic
and some balsamic vinegar, at a minimum. We found yours to be wonderful,
right out of jar, on it's very own. Please accept our thanks for sharing
your sauce outside of your restaurant and city. We'll keep buying it as
long as we can find it and we'll share the secret with our friends.....
I don't have plan to get to NY anytime soon but when I do--I will definitley
come in. In the meantime, I'll tell my friends and relatives in the area
to come by--if they haven't already! Gracie!

This WASP can now cook Italian dishes well enough
to be served to her husband's Italian family. Your sauces
in a jar should be called "Miracles in a Jar." If you are visiting NY,
you must eat at Patsy's.....and if you like manicotti, you will think you
have died and gone to heaven!!
Liz from Richmond, Virginia - March 2006
The recipe's you prepared on The Tony Danza show
are just like my grandmothers and my mothers cooking. Especially,
your Broccoli Rabe and Sausage with Cavetelli. Keep them coming.
Thank you.
Joellyn from Trenton, NJ - February 2006
From the moment we entered your place, it was friendly
and relaxing and not what we would have expected for "BIG CITY" atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and then to receive a gift bag with your
sauce, it made our experience in NYC even more enjoyable. And, to have
Sal come out and sign our cookbooks was another unexpected treat. It is
easy to see why you have been in business for so many years. It is that "personal" owner
run touch that makes such a difference. Thank you.
June from Poughkeepsie, NY – February 2006
What a great meal and fabulous service. We will be back! Many
thanks!
Joseph from Nantucket, MA - February 2006
Just wanted to say that I finally found the sauce in a grocery store. It's sold
at Mollie Stone's here in SF. I'm sooooo happy. I love it. It's the best. I just
noticed from this email that I can get it online, which is even better. My compliments
to Sal.
Jeanne from San Francisco, CA - February 2006
The last time I lived in NYC I was a student with
no time or money to experence anthing but burger and fries.
Now on my return, I have a good job, and it was time to go "uptown" and
experienced the things I missed. We walked in to Patsy's for the first
time with no idea what to expect. The staff there was a well oiled machine.
Before I knew it, I was seated at a nice table with a wine list in my hand,
surrounded by attentive waiters. The marina sauce was to die for! The fettuccine
alfredo was the best I ever had! Did I say the service was great? It was
a wonderful dinning experience and you have a regular for life. I'll definitely
bring back friends and family.
Christopher from Rahway, NJ - January 2006
I purchased your cookbook four days ago. I have
read it cover to cover like a novel. I just made my third recipe
from the book this morning. We loved each one. Thank you. Maria

I have been looking for years for a pasta sauce without garlic!! In fact I even talked about starting my own company featuring products without garlic. (not really - as I am not the greatest chef!) Yesterday I was in the Lakewood, NY Wegman's with my daughter looking at pasta sauces. She asked me why I even bothered as there was no such thing as an italian sauce without garlic. Just as she was speaking she spotted your jar of tomato
basil sauce that said NO GARLIC. We were both ecstatic. We my mother, sister, daughter, husband, and son) seem to have a reaction to garlic. The smell makes us nauseous and if we do consume some inadvertently - (usually we can tell if a dish has too much garlic just by the smell) - we develop a headache and upset stomach. The taste stays with us for several hours and we are consumed by a profound thirst (and no, we are not vampires!). Unfortunately garlic is showing up in more and more dishes at restraunts and in prepared food. Please remember that some people are not participants in America's love affair with garlic and buy your products just because they do not contain garlic. I hope I can buy enough to keep you in business forever!! THANK YOU FROM THE ENTIRE FAMILY. Linda from Pennsylvania - June 2005
By chance picked up your marinara sauce at my local food market. Didn't realize the cost until I got home but after making my pasta dish with italian sausage I was hooked. Went out the next day and purchased 3 more jars. Best tasting marinara I've ever had including the one I make from scratch. Thanks...a new customer. Joan from Chicago - June 2005
Just a note to say that your marinara was a trip
to Italy. NO WHERE have I ever tasted better -- I am going
to Harris Teeter to buy your sauces at any price. I am originally from
NJ. Best of success in this fabulous Italian treasure. Yvonne from Columbus, NC - May 2005
My husband and I visit New York (our original home)
at least twice a year and ALWAYS eat at Patsy's. The food, service and
ambiance are superb.
Donna from Miami, FL - May 2005
I can't say enough about your
wonderful restaurant! we just had a fabulous dinner with
a group of friends. Everything was absolutely wonderful!!!
The food was immpecable! We were wowed from the greeting
upon entering through to the retrieval of our coats at
the end of the evening. Nobody wanted to leave! Thank you
for a very memorable evening. We will definitely be back!!! Celeste from Bridgeport, CT - April 2005
I just wanted to let you know that we
just were in the city this past weekend and ate at your wonderful
place. The food was great. We met with the chef, and he gave
me a jar of your sauce that I can't wait to use. We have just
found our new favorite place to visit when we come into the
city. We can't wait to come back. Thanks for a great night
of food!
Joel from Easton, Pennsilvania - March 2005
My family and I eat in your restaurant
after the Tony Danza show. The food was excellent and the service
was great. Sal you came out of the kitchen to greet us and
made us feel like family. You gave us a jar of your famous
sauce, which made my wife and daughter very happy. What a small
world I knew your uncle who was commissioner of the department
of transportation in 1986. I recently retired as director of
Streetlighting after 38 years. Thank you again for making us
feel like family.
Joseph from Hicksville, New York - January 2005
Just a quick thank you to Sal for being
such a gracious host and fantastic chef. His friendly demeanor
and generosity was sincerely appreciated as well as his delicious
jarred sauce and outstanding meatball that he so kindly shared
w/our family. Our family not only enjoyed a wonderful meal
but a terrific dining experience. Keep up the great traditions
and fine food!!
Joanne from Middlebury, CT - January 2005
I am currently a Chef at a bed & breakfast
Inn in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. My love, however,
is Italian cooking. I have tried several of your recipes from
your book, and they were great. I visit my son every year
on his birthday (April) in Manhattan. Next time I am there,
we will dine at Patsy's. I hope I can also get your autograph
in my book. As a Sinatra fan from way back, I really enjoyed
the stories. Again, thank you for a great book. I really
look forward to my next NY visit.
George from Maryville, Tennessee

What a wonderful establishment you have.
We travel from Chicago with our disabled daughter frequently
JUST to eat at Patsy's. God bless Sal & the rest of the
gang!!
Mark from North Barrington, Illinois - December 2004
I've been entertaining business associates at Patsy's throughout
this year. On Saturday, 12/4 eleven of us spent the day in
NYC ending up at Patsy's. I can honestly say that our dinner
experience capped a perfect day. The food is always the best
tasting Italian food on the planet. The service is always
impeccable. But more than anything, the Scognamillo's create
a cordial environment and always make us feel important.
Patsy's truly is a treasure in NYC.
Tom from Kearny, New Jersey - December 2004
We know that you treat celebrities well,
but how Sal (and Joe) greeted us after our lunch the day
after Thanksgiving floored us. Sal acted as though these typical "tourists" were
the most special people in the world. I had bought the book
for my husband after seeing Sal on TV, but he seemed genuinely
concerned about us having a good experience even before he
knew we bought the book. And then he sent us off with a complimentary
jar of sauce. Like Sinatra, we've found a new "must do" when
we're in NYC. And I know we'll get the same star treatment.
Thank you so much!! (Oh, yes, and the food was wonderful!
The minestrone soup was truly memorable.)
Dianne from Johnstown, Pa - November 2004
Received your Vodka sauce as a gift.
My boyfriend is allergic to garlic so I was pleased to see
the vodka sauce contained no garlic. The sauce was fantastic
- I make my own sauce and usually don't like any bottle sauce.
Can't wait to have it again!!
Nancy from Clarks Summit, Pa - October 2004
I grew up my
mother cooking from scratch in Georgia so I have a hard time
not making homemade myself. I saw the Fra Diablo sauce on the
shelf in our neighborhood Albertsons store and decided to buy
it. When I saw the lady at the register ring it up the readout
said $8.49. Not wanting to say anything and not checking the
price before I put in my buggy I decided to keep it. I am glad
that I did. That sauce was worth every penny and more. It was
delicious. Thank you for having a brand that is quick and easy
and I can be assured that I am serving my family a quality
product while saving myself time in the kitchen. Again thank
you and it is wonderful. You can be certain that I will recommend
it to all my friends. I never have written anyone before on
a food that I bought but I thought you deserved a round of
applause.
Brenda from Mesquite, TX - July 2004
We just love your sauces! As there are
many good italian restaurants here in our area and even a
very good Italian deli where we use to get our sauces, that
is until we tried Patsy's now nothing but Patsy's will do.
HELP we have become addicted!! As we make it an every week
affair to take a drive to another town that sells your sauces
just so we can enjoy the great taste of Patsy's! Susan
from Cape Coral, FL - July 2004
Patsy's is the best restaurant in the
country. Sal, Joe and Frank treat everyone like family. Jim
from Chelmsford, MA - July 2004

"Jars of sauce are fragile. The packing
was perfect, and reflects an intention to do it right the first
time. The autograph
in the cookbook is a nice, personal touch. The sauce, by the
way,
is wonderful."
Alex from Oceanside, CA
"Pasty's has the most delicious

Amazing Sauces and Amazing Services!"

"Our friends took us to your fabulous
restaurant during our visit last summer to NYC. We were presented
with your wonderful Basil sauce at the our meal. Last night

were excellent! That sauce is by far the best we have ever
tasted. I to intend to get more as well as send it as gifts."
